Dr. Klietz If you are looking for a local veterinarian who cares about your pets as much as you do, you've come to the right place. Dr. Klietz has been practicing veterinary medicine for more than 25 years. Long before then, if we could rewind time and ask a young Dr. Klietz what he wanted to be when he grew up, his answer would have been "a vet." Shaped by this drive and fueled by his passion for providing exceptional care, Dr. Klietz wholly commits himself to his patients. His personal pets (and grand-dogs!) are self-described members of his family and he knows firsthand how much love we have for our critters. We take time to listen, understand your needs, and develop trust with your pets.

Our clients describe Dr. Klietz as a compassionate provider. Check out our Google Reviews to learn more from our patients and see why they choose to visit Eastgate Veterinary Clinic. The majority of our patients have been with us for decades. We love building relationships and ensuring your furry or scaly family members receive nothing but the finest care.

Dr. Mark Klietz and his staff treat dogs, cats, birds, ferrets, rabbits, reptiles and amphibians. We are also among the few local providers who treat exotic pets. Our team works to stay current with the latest advances in veterinary medicine, and to provide our clients with this information to keep their pets healthy and happy between visits to our clinic.

Dr. Klietz graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 1987 and has been practicing in the Missoula community ever since. Dr. Klietz is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Montana Veterinary Medical Association, the Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians, and the Association of Avian Veterinarians. Dr. Klietz is also accredited with the U.S. Department of Agriculture/APHIS.

When not at the clinic, you might see Dr. Klietz cruising around town in his red Corvette or cheering on his beloved Chicago Cubs.
